In summary, the game was alright. First half, kita banyak pegang bola tapi second half diorang lagi banyak pegang possession. In the end, the result reflects the game accurately.
Fair enough, we didn't go all out because we don't want to risk any silly injuries nearing NCG. And given this is a friendly, we put in a lot of new faces so everyone gets a piece of the action.
Having said that, in our post-mortem we agreed on a few things which could be improved on:
1) Passing - Banyak kali passing tak tepat dan rugi possession. Basic kena solid.
2) Suara - Susah kalau sorang je yang bising. Kena the whole team, baru confident. And not jerit tak tentu hala, dia mesti benda macam "Man on!", "Got time!", "Pass sini!!" then ada direction.
3) Organisation - Several times players got caught out of position. Also miscommunication was frequent, mengakibatkan bola bounce at defensive area many times, leading to second goal.
The Indonesians? They were a lot hungrier this time round. You can see them tackling for their lives. Some of them were a bit rough, and our players got injured (not serious). But on the whole, their fighting spirit was much higher and they enacted sweet revenge.
Notable players:
1) Syakir - Mat burst winger. Energetic and often beats the left back.
2) Keeper Indo - Solid dan banyak save.
3) Apit (member Umar) - Had one or two chances and showed some intelligent dribbling.
Quote of the day: "Often it is not the most talented team that wins, but is the team who is the hungriest". This game is a good example.
Good game guys. Bangkit kembali!!!
