Training Rugby AUG
Assalamualaikum dan Selamat Sejahtera,
Sebelum pape aku just nk wish korang selamat berpuasa dan selamat melakukan amal ibadat.semoga segala amalan diterima Allah swt.
Memandangkan AUG dah semakin hampir,kite akan mulakan sesi latiahan pada hujung minggu ini sbb AUG btl2 lps raya. Aku tau skang tgh posa so kite just akan main touch sket utk biasakan blk pgg bola rugby and dpt chemistry dgn kwn2 kite yang lain.
Basicly xde org akan confirm masuk team A or team B or even masuk pun. Yang penting turun and tunjukkan komitment masing2.dah trainning baru cite masuk team ke x!! so semua org digalakkan turun!!
Training akan start ahad ni sharp 3.30 ptg (Utk bg masa kpd mereka yg hendak membeli juadah berbuka di bazaar.tp harap jgn pegi bazaar utk jual muka tp blk tgn kosong)...lokasi either dkt Munro or oval.(korang alert la sdiri)
Lastly aku tau ramai abg2 senior kite (apek, johan kamal hamidon serta konco2 yang lain) sibuk menyiapkan assignment dan projek masing2.oleh itu kami semua memahami situasi anda sekalian kalo x dpt turun tp kalo dpt turun ALHAMDULILLAH...

Futsal suka-suka + beramah mesra
Kami akan mengadakan sesi futsal (a.k.a mengeratkan silaturahim sambil membuat lawak2 rempit) esok.

Opposition strengths
- Excellent attack - They know how to score. Good distance shooters. Deadly freekicks.
- Winger kanan yang laju (Jo nampak macam jogging je bila nak kejar dia)
- Playmaker yang hebat (Pakai uniform PJ and kaki kanan je hidup, tapi sungguh hebat)
- Tak puasa
Opposition weaknesses
- Dodgy defense. Vulnerable to counter-attack.
- Lacks aggression in midfield. Don't seem to like the physical stuff.
Keys to winning
1) Contain the winger. Dia suka tukar2 between LW and RW, so ball-side defending is even more crucial, i.e CB cover WB while the other 2 far defenders cover centre.
2) Contain (even better if dominate / stifle / crush) the playmaker. All attacks start through him.
3) Their gameplan suits our counterattacking style. They like attacking, so if we can dispossess them there is a chance to score while they lose their shape. Repeat. We converse energy this way. Harap-harap kita score dululah, that would be even better.
4) Would appreciate help from the non-Muslims. Kaki-kaki segar :)

Of bittersweet, pahit maung and the one that got away - Farewell Abu Zaid!
Again, I don't normally do reviews for post-NCG games, but because this is Abu Zaid's (and potentially Shy's) final match, I've done up a quick summary of the tesimonial.
This centre-back from Bangi (the most happening suburb in the world!!!) is well-known for his courage, passion and determination to win the ball. His style of play is based on lots of running, one can say he believes in the art of attacking defense (i.e dominating the opposition striker instead of the other way round).
Fellow teammates describe him as a carbon copy of myself. I think he's possibly better, because he's much more determined, and has absolutely no fear. Vital values for a centre back.
While he does have his forgettable moments (Goals scored = -2), overall he has done a great service to Queensland. We wish him all the best in future endeavours, and thank you for all your unrelenting efforts on the field.
Game review
This week's game was against Blackstar Roasters. Last match ended in defeat (1-2), so we're pretty keen on avenging that.
Being the first game in Ramadhan, we were mindful of conserving our energy, and converting any limited chances we had. We got some extra help from the non-Muslims i.e the Harolds who offered fresh legs and energy.
1st half
First half started with a flyer. Got two early goals: After being fouled outside the penalty area, a well-placed freekick from Apit put the side in the lead (1-0). It got better when we got another one in, courtesy of Zaril's weighted through pass, volleyed in by Black. 2-0. Half-time.
2nd half
Second half was an affair to forget. Started brightly when Abu's 15-minute cameo almost resulted in a goal - Left footed shot missing the post by inches. After that, we lost shape and gave momentum to the opposition.
They scored from a corner, and followed up with a thunderous shot from Rafael Marchetti a.k.a Kaki Besi. 2-2, and the score remained that way till the final minute. Menghampakan. Dahlah dua2 gol time aku main. Felt a bit gutted not being able to send off Abu with a win, sungguh menghampakan.
Maybe it was the fatigue from fasting, maybe it was changing too many players at once instead of doing them gradually (tapi kami masih menghargai sumbangan anda the Harolds!) Or maybe it was our own goalkicks that keep putting us on the backfoot. Whatever it is, this is definitely one that got away. Nasib baik tak kalah. Apa2 hal I hope we can do better this Sunday.
Player-player cemerlang:
1) Abu Zaid - Scintilating performance for a clean sheet first half. Memberikan 100% dan hampir dianugerahkan dengan sebiji gol yang bermakna.
2) Shy - Numerous saves to keep the opposition at bay. Sorry about the 2 goals mate.
3) Black - Volley kencang menjaringkan gol, dan rembatan first time mengena tiang. Looked dangerous.
We've only got 6 more games to go:
- Madtongsan (3-3, 2-5) - Sunday ni, tak sure pukul berapa yet.
- Axis of Evil (0-3, 0-3)
- Gurkha x 2 (5-1)
- Latino (1-0, 0-1)
- Blackstar Roasters (1-2, 2-2)
All of them are winnable. Would be nice to finish on a high note.

Final Results: Fantasy Futsal

Well it's been a very tantalising competition, and a very successful one too considering it's our first time doing it!!! Again thanks very much for the captains for helping out.
Also a special mention for Abu for helping me calculate the scores for the last 4 hours. Couldn't have done it without you bro :)
